RFA Talk > Experience wanted
Kasey, I posted a long reply to this and it doesn't seem to have posted. Maybe I didn't enter the confirmation words correctly. I will write more soon, but I want to assure you that I do more than cook, work and go to meetings. I am taking an Irish dance class, I play games with my family, read books for pleasure, go to church and then back to church at night for a gospel choir. I attend one face to face meeting per week and occasionally attend the Friday phone meeting. I take sponsee calls in the morning. I will post more later today. Love, Alison
Hi Kasey,
I can relate to your struggle. I have taken a second job to make ends meet, which has caused my schedule to change tremendously. Nevertheless, I still have to find a way to manage my food and calling in to meetings. As well fit in church, exercise, family time and me time. No an easy feat. However, I seem to be managing by keeping a very organized schedule. I'm still looking for a way to streamline just haven't figured it all out yet, until such time sticking to a structured schedule seems to be the answer for me, event management.
I so relate to this struggle. Over the last year my life has filled up with wonderful opportunities and along with these opportunities has come a sense of always feeling rushed with no time left. This leads me to feeling stressed. When I am feeling stressed about time I have to remember easy does it. I say a prayer and repeat over and over again Easy Does It. This calms me.
Hope this helps
HI All,
I'm looking for some experience, strength and hope from you guys about how to get out of the kitchen.
I recognize that the most important aspect of my life is to avoid the comsumption of sugar, flour and wheat and that in order to do that, many processed and prepared foods are not available to me. So, obtaining and preparing food is part of my life today.
Here's where I need some help:
I fell like I don't have time to do much other than go to meetings and cook and go to work. The going to meetings and cooking is okay, but I'd like to explore some other options work-wise and don't see how or when.
Please share about how you make it work.
thanks,
Kasey
