Hi everyone. If you are new and wondering how much protein to buy to have enough for the week, I calculated some mulitpliers. Just take the decimal number, multiply it times the amount of uncooked protein and it will give you a fairly accurate yield of cooked protein. I have calculated: skinless, boneless chicken thigh = 0.55 Bone in chicken breast = 0.44 ground turkey = 0.78
so, 1 pound of ground turkey would yield approximately 12-1/2 ounces of cooked protein, enough for 3 meals if you are on the 4 oz portion.
I'll add more as I calculate them. Hope this is helpful to you. thanks, Kasey
